Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda & T-Streets – “My Reality”

Here’s a Young Money Exclusive with Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, & T-Streets. T-Streets is on the chorus & he bit Drake’s line, “My Reality Is Brighter Than Your Dreams Are.” Gudda Gudda & Jae Millz both give nice verses. I can’t wait to hear what they’ve got for the Young Money Album.

Poni Ft Lil Wayne – “Easy Money” Listen/Download

Here’s a song by a female UK artist, Poni featuring Lil Wayne. I still don’t know what to think about Poni’s part, but Lil Wayne contributes a nice verse to the song. Listen for yourself below & comment if you download.

Lil Wayne – “Freeze” (Ft Unknown Singer)

Lil Wayne’s only got one verse on this, but it’s not bad. There’s an unknown demo singer on it that sounds like any other singer to me. Listen below & comment if you download.

Lil Wayne Delays Several Shows Due To Illness

Lil Wayne has postponed his upcoming shows in Europe, expected to kick off in Paris this Thursday, due to illness.

The rap star was set to play seven dates in Europe over the next 10 days, including the Roskilde Festival in Denmark and two dates in London.

An official statement said the musician had been forced to cancel the concerts due to “doctor-mandated rest”. “Lil Wayne extends an apology to his fans for the short notice of this postponement,” a statement said. “But Weezy looks forward to returning for the performances and visitation with his fans,” the statement continued.
Fans have been advised to hold on to their tickets and wait for details of revised dates. The shows were due to take place in Paris, Roskilde, London, Amsterdam, Liege and Thurgau in Switzerland.

Shout outs to the BBC for this info… damn I feel bad for our European readers who are going to the Roskilde Festival, they probably won’t be able to delay that whole thing just for Weezy F Baby. Personally I’m hoping these delays don’t affect his American tour, I can’t wait to go to his concerts here in America.

The Alchemist Ft Travis McCoy & Lil Wayne – “I Know Your Name” **FIRE!!**

[VIDEO] Drake Talks About His Relationship With Lil Wayne

Drake stayed down and stayed loyal: No more is he the hottest free agent in music, Drizzy’s recording contract is done! He has artistic freedom and big backing.

“To go independent is — like I said in a prior interview — it’s a funny term,” Drake told MTV on Tuesday, addressing the deal that finds his albums being released on Wayne’s independent Young Money label (which is affiliated with Cash Money Records) and being distributed by the major Universal Republic. “Because it’s almost impossible to go fully independent. This was basically like the closest thing I could get to my own independence, to sort of continuing to be that guy to the fans that, you know, is trying to prove something — trying to prove that it can be done. So with that being said, I signed directly to Cortez Bryant and Gee Roberson, my two managers, and their company Inspire. It’s a joint venture with Young Money, so that’s the deal. I know there’s been a lot of stuff on the Internet about different entities, but that’s the people involved in the main record deal. And then it’s distributed through Universal, so it’s great, man. You know, if we can sell some records I think it could be a pretty legendary situation.”

Although Drake decided to stay with his managers (who also manage Lil Wayne), he said he loved the courting process.

“Well, the whole thing with me was, I met some great people along the way. [Warner Music's] Lyor Cohen is such a special man to me, even though I am signed where I am signed at. You know, [Interscope head] Jimmy Iovine, same thing, a great person that taught me a lot in a very short period of time. But my loyalty lays with Wayne. For him to be able to benefit from the situation and for us to be able to brand Young Money, this is the route that I went.

“I plan to work with Wayne for the rest of my career, so I think it’s a smart career move,” he added. “You know, everybody else [on Young Money] will hopefully work out the situations, get the right people on the album. I think it was important for me to show him that I believed in him as much as he believed in me. Because a lot of months he stuck his neck out there for me, you know with [performing with Drake on the BET Awards Sunday], and then ‘Ransom’ and all the songs that we put out. And the things he would say in interviews, he really put himself out there for me. So I think it was only just and fair to show him that I feel the same way.”

Drake, Wayne, Young Jeezy and Soulja Boy are scheduled to start their “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” on July 27. One thing not in Drake’s favor is his health: He tore his ACL playing basketball and is moving around with a cane. During the BET Awards, he had to lean against a stool while performing. He’s hoping to be able to maneuver through his injury enough to not miss any tour dates.

“Well, I got a couple weeks of rehab ahead of me,” he said. “Right now the knee is, it’s slipping, so I would not be able to perform right now. But I’m going to be in the studio and in rehab.”

Drake is hoping to release his official debut LP, Thank Me Later, this year. He said he just finished recording with Pharrell Williams.

[VIDEO] 50 Cent Says Lil Wayne’s Sales Don’t Mean Anything

In the video below 50 Cent says some stuff that I find really annoying. Specifically, he says that Lil Wayne selling over a million in a week doesn’t mean anything, and that fans are quick to forget his history; getting caught up in whoever is hot at the moment. “What you’re talking about is who is a buzz,” he explained. “A buzz is a song. So the next song that I release can turn me back into what you feel like is the hottest thing out here. So I mean if I’m showing you full capability of it than what makes you doubt that.” 50 points to fellow heavyweight Jay-Z, who he feels consistently finds a way to stay relevant. “There’s a respect that is well deserved on Jay-Z’s part because he’s had that cloud come over him and constantly worked his way through it, having so many projects come out and be successful and maintain meaning.” (XXL)

I think part of the reason Lil Wayne is so much better than 50 Cent is because he’s smarter. 50, a buzz is when you’re mildly intoxicated by a substance, not a song. Buzz can also mean hype or interest surrounding something, but again, not a song. Also, Jay-Z had a cloud come over him? Is 50 trying to say that Jay has gained clout from his quality and experience?

Weezy is much more eloquent than 50, he has much better word choice, and that is just a SMALL reason why he is the best, while 50 is jealous and trying to get attention. Watch the video below, please don’t try and say fifty is better in the comments lol.
