Drake Ft Nispey Hussle – “Killer” **FIRE!!!**

drake-ft-nispey-hussle-killer
Here’s a new track by Drake featuring Nipsey Hussle. The beat reminds me of “So Far Gone” and they both kill the track. My favorite part of the song is the chorus. Drake just kills it! This is a must listen & download so check it out below and dont forget to leave your comments below too.

Jay-Z Ft Drake – “Off That” From Blueprint 3

blueprint-3-back-cover
Here’s the track everyone’s been talking about! Drake said that he did a few tracks with Jay, but I guess this is the only one he wanted to use. I thought this track would have been one of the best tracks on the album, but I must admit I’m kind of disappointed. The beat is produced by Timabaland and its a fast techno-ish poppy beat in my opinion. Drake is only on the chorus too, I was hoping for at least one verse, but oh well. Maybe the other tracks will leak soon.

Slaughterhouse Adding A Southern MC, “It Would Have To Be A T.I. Or Lil Wayne”

slaughterhouse
Slaughterhouse recently spoke on the likelihood of another rapper joining their four-member team and, if given the opportunity to add a Southern member, why T.I. and Lil Wayne would be at the top of their list.

After careful consideration among the group members, which consists of Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Crooked I and Royce Da 5′9, they expressed their thoughts on the Southern touch.

“This shit is like a strategically built together puzzle,” Royce said. “The puzzle could only fit four pieces…There’s a lot of n*ggaz from the South that can spit. If I want just straight up lyricism, then it would have to be a T.I. or a Lil Wayne. If I wanted to go based off of Ol’ G status, and who I personally like, I would say Bun B. I mean he supports niggas. He’s been supporting niggas since day one. He’s a real nigga, not to say Lil Wayne or T.I. aren’t, but like I said, to me, there’s just more that goes into just straight up spitting. Yeah Lil Wayne and them niggas could spit.”

Birdman Ft Drake & Lil Wayne – “Money To Blow”

Lil-Wayne-Birdman
Here’s a new hot track for Birdman’s “Always Strapped” album. Drake spits a recycled verse. I forgot what song it was called, but Lil Wayne spit it at the BET Awards when he performed Misunderstood. Drake is on the chorus and he straight kills it (its not recycled). Lil Wayne even says “We gon be alright if we put Drake on every hook”. Great song, listen/download below & post your thoughts and comments.

[Video] John Legend Wants To Work With Lil Wayne

This is pretty interesting, in a recent interview John Legend said he would like to make a track with the best rapper alive Lil Wayne. We all know that these have collaborated before on the Rich Boy track Ghetto Rich Remix, does anyone think Weezy F Baby will work with Legend on a complete song together? Personally, I think that if Weezy would jump on a song with Madonna then he would be down to do a track with John Legend. Check out the interview below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Omarion Chose To Leave Young Money?

Well this is a big surprise! After every big hip hop news source including NewLilWayne.com had announced that Omarion had been dropped from Young Money (supposedly) for leaking a song, he now claims he chose to leave the label. Take a look below at what Mr. Grandberry tweeted just minutes ago:

Omarion’s Tweet explaining his departure from Young Money

“There’s a lot of peeps thinking I got dropped from Y.m [Young Money]. That has never nor will ever be the case I asked to be released, I didn’t get dropped. I wish Wayne and all of Y.m good luck for [their] future. There are no hard feelings, business is business and I made a decision that I felt was best for me. Album OLLUSION still coming, video still coming really soon love y’all thanks for holding me down!”

This certainly comes as a big surprise for us, yet it does leave us a bit more confident about the current state of Young Money; there was no ‘kicking out’ after all.

Omarion Officially Dropped From Young Money For Leaking Song

omarion
Recently R&B singer Omarion was welcomed with open arms to the Young Money family, and even appeared onstage with Weezy last week in California. However now it seems the singer is getting the boot from Young Money just hours after an apparent single ["I Get It In"] with rapper Lil Wayne was leaked online. No word if the leaked single had anything to do with the sudden departure of the star, however many insiders are saying that was what caused the rift. Apparently an anonymous source had been sending blogs the track all week long, and that it was not the final cut and it had not been approved.

Late tonight word hit the internet when Young Money artist and president Mack Maine tweeted the following message.

Soon there after fellow Young Money artists Lil Twist and Jae Millz co-signed with a re-tweet. I wonder what exactly went down? At this point calls and emails to Mack Maine and his management have not been returned, however I am sure we will hear something soon.
