Lil Wayne was born to Dwayne Michael Turner and Jacinda Carter on September 27, 1982. His biological father was never really in the picture much, just a violent presence in his young life before the age of five. When Lil Wayne was around 10, his mom remarried Reginald “Rabbit” Carter and became Lil Wayne’s father figure. Rabbit died when Lil Wayne was 14 and the only other father figured for him to look up to was Brian Williams, also known as Baby or Birdman along with the rest of the Cash Money family.
