Lil Wayne shot his MTV “Unplugged” performance last Thursday in Los Angeles as he debuted his lastest, “Nightmares Of The Bottom” record from his upcoming “Tha Carter IV” album. The Los Angeles Times was on hand to get Lil Wayne‘s take on his appearance + don’t miss out, as the show airs live June 12th.

“It was humbling just to be a part of. As an artist that’s watched the game as closely as I did, to be on ‘Unplugged’ is a high honor,”

Wayne said.

“I’ve gotten people that haven’t texted me in a long time, text me today saying congratulations. It is that kind of thing. I felt great about it.”
