Young Money’s Nicki Minaj has become the latest artist from Lil Wayne’s label to speak on his upcoming jail bid and recently explained to Jenny Boom Boom when he would be heading up north to begin.
In addition to Wayne, Nicki also spoke on Young Money’s upcoming albums.
“December 22nd, as well as Lil Wayne’s Rebirth album,” Nicki said about the Young Money Project dropping on the same day. “I don’t know [why Drake isn't on Rebirth], you gotta ask Lil Wayne and Drake. I don’t have anything to do with that but I do know Drake is probably gonna be on The Carter 4. I would like for [my album] to be, third quarter. I would like it to be third quarter of 2010 because I have a lot of features that are gonna be out at the beginning of the year and I want people to get the chance to know me. Really know me…[Lil Wayne] is going to be up there in February. I’ll [visit him] as often as I can. I mean, he’s gonna be in New York and I’m from New York, so, I would love to just come up there as often as I can. But he’s gonna be, there’s gonna be so many people there so you know, I’m sure it’ll go by in like, days, to him. It’ll probably be a very weird experience but I think at the end he’ll come out stronger, like, he always does. Nothing ever fazes him really.”
Recently Fuzzy from Power 106 caught up with Lil Wayne and had a chance to ask him some questions. In this interview Weezy F Baby talks about Lauren London having his baby, Young Money and their upcoming single “Girl You Know”, Drake’s injury, The Carter 4, and much more.
